Teacher: Competitive Teams

Isadora Bolduc

Isadora is a passionate artist and educator, recognized as much for her deep sensitivity as for her assertive and caring approach. Since her teenage years, she has discovered the joy of teaching and has been sharing her love of dance ever since, with contagious energy and personalized attention for every student.

Over the years, she has built solid expertise as a teacher and choreographer. Her creations, always unique and deeply moving, stand out in competitions: they leave a lasting impression on the dancers who perform them as well as the judges, who are often touched by their authenticity and artistic refinement.

As the founder and co-director of Ovation Danse, Isadora plays a key role in developing the competitive division. She mentors troupes of all ages and levels, from novice to competitive, while overseeing human resources, costume management, and the overall organization of the sector. Since 2013, she has also been an active contributor to artistic projects at the Collège Notre-Dame-de-l’Assomption (CNDA), specifically with their musical theater productions and, since 2021, the Dance-Study program.

Trained in hip-hop, ballet, and contemporary dance from a very young age, she completed a DEC in dance at the Cégep de Drummondville, then perfected her art for a year at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal, one of the most prestigious institutions in the country. In 2021, she also completed a bachelor's degree in primary/pre-school education at UQTR, which enriches her pedagogical approach with a deep understanding of young people's needs.

Throughout her journey, Isadora has performed in various contexts, notably with Ballet Ouest in The Nutcracker, and has evolved within competitive hip-hop and contemporary troupes, nurturing her artistic vision. Today, she combines her academic experience, creativity, and empathy to provide exceptional guidance to the dancers of Ovation Danse, as well as to her entire teaching team.
