Marie -Ève Courchesne

Marie-Ève has been teaching dance since her teens, building a reputation over the years as an experienced educator. Her approach combines technical precision, sensitivity, and humanity, allowing her students to progress through rigorous training while developing their creativity and confidence.

Trained in ballet and contemporary dance, she completed a DEC in dance at the Cégep de Saint-Laurent, followed by a professional diploma at the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal. Today, her artistic career and diverse background fuel a rich teaching approach, where she constantly seeks to make movement more fluid, natural, and expressive.

Throughout her journey, Marie-Ève has taught at numerous dance schools across Quebec, sharing her expertise in a wide variety of settings. Notably, she took part in a volunteer project in Haiti, where she focused on motor skills, body awareness, and improvisation with young children. These diverse experiences fuel her teaching style and reinforce her belief that dance is a powerful tool for transformation and human connection.

As co-founder and director of Ovation Danse, Marie-Ève oversees management, communications, marketing, and family services, all while pursuing her primary mission: sharing dance as an art form that transforms, unites, and uplifts. Through her commitment, she helps build a school where every dancer can find their place, grow with confidence, and fully flourish.
